Went for cocktail #10 today. All my numbers from my blood work were pretty good. My platelet count went up to 170 which is great! My WBC went up but is still on the low side my red blood count is low...my hemoglobin is down to 9.6...pretty low....I'll take an iron supplement every day...just one...too many isn't good for me...not being able to 'void'!!! who needs that feeling!!! Other than that...everything went well except for timing....we didn't leave the building until 4:30...I was done at 3:30 but Dr. May wanted to see me....why? I just saw her on Monday...but we did decide on doing the Neulasta - white blood cell shot - on Saturday...It's a one time shot during 24 hours after chemo meds...rather than going back and forth two days next week.
My tongue sore is still there but doesn't hurt...now I have this thumb cut...when I saw it coming I put that 'new skin band aid' on it...like a liquid glue...but it didn't help. Some of the things I touched today had blood on it....it's so deep and any pressure that I put on it doesn't help. Guess I will just keep a regular band aid on it!!!
Now the only bad thing is that Charlie signed us up for the township garage sale. I have the appt. on Saturday at 9...the same time the sale starts....guess he'll be the only one out there! Sam is going on her cruise and Paul will be down in Atlantic City...unless Charlie thinks to ask Nick to come here...he will be alone! Until I come home....of course the information on getting this shot states that you should stay away from crowds....not that we will have a ton of people here looking at MY 'memories'...ooops, looking at 'their' treasures....to be honest, I'm not sure how many people actually signed up for this township garage sale and we are one of the last houses in Frelinghuysen at this end...we maybe the first 'look' or one of the last....You never know!
We have lots of bed comforters and toys....wooden cigar boxes (you could use them to put your jewelry in)....this is a tough one for me...I'd love to keep majority of the things but I know we don't need to move them either....I would just rather 'give them -free - to people I know' rather than sell them for pennies to someone I don't know. So, if you're interested....come by...see, I didn't say - come buy!....
