Went for my 'shot' today and waited an hour! That's the worst part! It takes them not more than 5 minutes to give me the shot...it's the waiting game!!!!
I still have the tongue sore BUT I found this great stuff!!!! Biotene Gel...you put it directly on the sore and it feels so much better...much better than the 'magic mouthwash'....Still numb fingers and I think I have it on my feet now too...hard to tell.
I was going to put my feet in the pool today but when I did - yikes! I got that tingling feeling...guess the pool water is too cold!
I asked the nurse about the 'shot'...how much does the white blood count go up after each shot...she didn't have an answer because they really don't know...could be that it goes up alot or it may just stay the same...not sure when they will draw blood to see what the count is.
I didn't have any side effects - except two...a bit of a stomach ache, not much of an appetite and - oops - three....being tired. Even though I that tired, I was able to get my chores done today.
I go back tomorrow (Tuesday) for shot number 3....
Tomorrow is NW Project Graduation...this is the first year - after doing this for 8 years that I will NOT be doing this. I do miss it....tomorrow is the worst day - so much to do...but, I still had fun doing it! Even staying up all night...of course, it was the following day and the next that killed me! Charlie is going as a chaperone and Paul will be running the Event portion....I get the scoop on how our new chairperson did. She is pretty much following everything I did...as I did too...
