Cocktail #14....arrived at 11 am for my scheduled appointment...waited about 35 minutes in the waiting room....nurse brought me in and took my vitals...then there were NO infusion rooms...so we went back into the waiting room and waited about 20 minutes. I didn't get hooked up until 12:30 and was there until 3:30....long day.
Here I've been going for all these treatments and after this one I found out that each room has their own thermostat. I was freezing but had one of my prayer blankets on...now I know next time that I can have the air conditioner temp. lowered!
I can't figure this out...last week I had the Nupagin shot on Sat., and Tues. and Wed. it was checked and the number of my white blood count (wbc) was 12. I went the other day (Monday), and found out that my wbc is or was 2.7! Doctor said that maybe it was due to having my teeth pulled...but now I have to go back for the shot on Sat., Mon., and Tues....then Thursday I go to the oral surgeon to have him check my mouth.....a busy week....
Sam and Paul were here with Fay today...I came home after shopping with Charlie at Walmart (almost took out my flipper to feel like a real Walmart shopper...the ones that are photographed shopping there....no offense....to Walmart shoppers)...Charlie needed a new watch band for his 10 year old Timex and I wanted a thermos for soup. I eat soft foods when I have the flipper in...and when I'm home...I take it out and eat...and chew! and even bite into foods....being careful.....Anyway, came home and made a hamburger for Fay and a hot dog for me. Paul had grilled some veggies but was at the gym when we ate and Sam was working...and Charlie was too full from lunch that I packed him. Then I did two loads of wash and put the garbage together....Thank goodness I had the energy to do all of that...and here it is after midnight and I'm still up....
