Well, I said I'd wait until today to let you all know what my scan results were...but I was at the dentist when the nurse called...so she just emailed me and said that I had 75% shrinkage. I will get the 'full report' on Monday when I go for blood work. She couldn't scan them because no one was at the front desk either....boy, they have better hours than bankers!!!
I was at the dentist yesterday - getting my new teeth! They are glued in but not permanent - yet...I get the real permanent ones on the 16th of Sept. It feels so much better not having to take my flipper out.
While I had my scan I began to 'itch'....so, now I am slightly allergic to 'iodine'....go figure! So, when I go for scans now I have to pre-med with a steroid....more junk in my body!!!
I still have the tingly/numbness in my fingers....now, I think it's getting a little better...it is just in the tips of my fingers - still have it on my feet...but it feels like - if you bend you nails in the opposite direction and the skin under your nail is pulling away....now you can ask - does it bother me???? Only when I use my hands! Even typing...my nails hit the wrong keys and I can feel that 'nail going in the other direction' but it's do-able!!! Can't stop me from typing!!!! Love that 'backspace key'!!!
I will email my CT scan update as soon as I get it and then post it here too.
