Sunday, September 12th - #18 - day 4

Well, I went for my shot yesterday (Saturday) at 9:30 am. I have been going to a different office because Sparta Cancer Center is usually closed on Saturday's....but their computers were down so I went to SCC... Arrived on time and I was the only one there so the nurse took me right away. Got into the room and was talking to the nurse about having to go three times for the shot, about the weather and some other stuff. While I was sitting there I noticed the injection cover being a different color (I'm use to orange and this one was blue). I usually ask the nurse if that is my nupagin shot...but this time I didn't - as going to the 'same facility' they should know!! Well, this nurse (I think her name was/is Ann)....gave me the wrong shot!!! It's the longer lasting one - nurlasta....but when I first got it...I didn't feel well for three days! So, far, so good...I just have a little headache but it comes and goes. I didn't have energy too...but this time, again - so far, so good. Maybe my body is accepting it.

So, now I don't have to go back for two more shots...but I do have to go back this week because I need a CBC for the dentist appointment that I have on Thursday. I'm getting my real permanent bridge put in....I still have the temporary permanent bridge in right now.

So, I thought you might find this story a little interesting...you would think that the nurse knew what she was doing! But, thank God it wasn't life threatening! I was nice enough to her and she just kept apologizing...but under my breath....wow! if YOU could have heard what I was thinking!!!!
