Saturday, October 2nd...#19 - day 10

Not much new here....same symptoms. Although I did have several finger cuts. One on my right index finger (first finger)...amazing how much you take advantage of our appendage's...when I put the car key into the ignition...wow, did that hurt my finger just by turning the key! Ouch!! My finger cuts are all better now. My numbness/tingling is the same...in my finger tips. Sometimes it feels like its getting better and then sometimes I just don't know. I am able to open things a bit easier....but the waiting for it to get back to normal is getting old. I'm still taking the pills that is suppose to help and I take them at night before bedtime....I think it takes them about 3 hours to kick in...but I do sleep really well taking them. I missed one night and for some reason - I didn't sleep well...hmmmmmmm

Charlie and I went to Sam's Club yesterday to buy some more drinks for the concession stand at the 'new' sports complex. It was raining and I really wanted to stop in other stores...but this isn't a mall where it's all enclosed...you have to walk OUTSIDE to any store you want to go to...not a great day for walking.

Nick is back from Georgia...but haven't spoken to him...Paul is down in Atlantic City celebrating his friends birthday, and Sam is home - well kind of...she just went to the gym to work out. She's having a difficult time with her Accounting class. Thank goodness Nicholas can help her. Sam said that she doesn't get what the teacher is teaching but when Nick explains it to her...she gets it.....hmmm. Fay is doing well, she got her flu shot the other day...our doctor made a house call at 10 am! Great way to start your day!

Enjoy the day...rain is coming - again....I know we need it...but enough is enough! We had 7 inches yesterday (Friday)!!! No water problems here...thank God!

I remember in Hasbrouck Heights...my poor mom would be in the basement (alone) trying to get rid of the water! You think we were there to help her? No way... When I think of it now, boy, we were not very helpful for her. I'm so glad I am able to help her now. She did so much for us as we were growing up - living in her house.

Kids really do tend to take advantage of our parents....and again, I'm glad I'm making up for lost time.
