I was scheduled for today, for cocktail #27....as soon as I finished my shower I saw that the flakes were falling...according to the weather forecast it wasn't suppose to begin until noon time. Good gracious...these guys get such a great salary and they still can't get this weather straight!!!
Anyway, the roads were clear. But looking out the window - I wasn't sure if our aide could come...as she doesn't like driving in this weather. I left it up to her if she wanted to come. Sam didn't want to come home as she 'thought' she had a class tonight - which was cancelled and she has classed on Thursday which begin at 10...wonder if any or all will be cancelled....anyway the other option would have been that Charlie would drive me and then come back home to stay with Mom....he doesn't/didn't think I could drive in the snow (because I haven't driven in it for a long time - working out of the house does things like that even though I still had to drive or pick up the kids at school - short distance...)
It's after midnight and is still snowing...we have about a new 12 inches on top of the old 4 inches.
Anyway, my cocktail went well...I stayed an extra 20 minutes because they gave me 'magnesium'...it was a tiny bit low but I guess Dr. May thought it was important. My WBC is in the 'final range' so I don't have to go for any nupagin shots this week. My fingers still have this tingling feeling - but I do think it's getting better...and I think it has gone to my ears...when it's quiet I get a ringing sound in my ears...not bad...but the clinical nurse said it is from the nerves in my eardrum...hmmm
Eight weeks will bring another CT Scan which is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 2nd. I am praying for more shrinkage or a report stating they (all three) are completely gone and my liver and all other 'guts' are clear!!! But, being under 'stress' for the last few weeks may just hinder the later.....family stress....
My next update will be as soon as I get the results from the scan - unless we get another (very possible) snow storm closing the scan office. If it does snow and they do close - I have to pray that I don't take all the prednazone pills and drink that 'great' vanilla shake the night before.....
Thank you, again, for keeping me positive and praying for me. Without YOUR prayers and support I don't think we would have come this far in this period of time.
