I forgot to post this...but I'm sure you already know - if you read your emails regularly...
I am scheduled (no exact time yet) for my pre-admission tests on Friday, July 22nd and then the surgery for Wednesday, July 27th.
All this was pre-scheduled by the doctor and they just 'told' me to go those days - of course they added - if it was okay with me....other than Charlie having to 'play' with his work schedule...it's okay.
This actually works out very well. Samantha will still be home (not have left for school yet) and Paul is still around.
Paul will be taking me (that sounds so weird...my son taking me -- rather than the other way around) to NYC for the pre-admission tests.
Not sure which hospital I will be in or even where it is. I know the cancer center is in a different location.
