Went for my MRI this morning. This is MRI #4 - I think....first one was in Morristown when I was first diagnosed with colon cancer, then it was for surgeon in Morristown (which I decided not to use), then it was for pre-admission testing in MSKCC, and this one.
MRI's are pretty easy...you only need to fast 4 to 6 hours before. You get an injection and then the machine is so loud you need earphones. You also have to hold your breath for about 20 seconds (the most) and your done in about 1/2 hour. I only had to remove my 'underwire' bra...
Dr. May should get the results sometime tomorrow - so I will call on Wednesday to see what's going on 'inside' me!
