Pump removal day....I couldn't believe that we were in and out in less than 1/2 hour! We 'checked' in and within five minutes we were taken to one of the infusion rooms and off came my pump...in and out!! I wish that each appointment went that fast! Charlie was upset when we left the house that he forgot his book....he was lucky....he never would have had a chance to even read one page!
It's such a nice feeling NOT to have that pump hanging from my waist...I can't wait to take a 'regular' shower tomorrow morning! Sleeping with it isn't so bad...I actually unhooked it from my waist last night and just had it next to me...that was more comfortable than wearing it and adjusting it as I toss and turn during the night.
Feeling fine....I'm actually writing this on Saturday morning...I was a little tired yesterday but I think it was just the idea of going out and keeping warm....When we got home at 2:30 I ate my lunch and did a load of laundry....Charlie started the wood stove and did his own thing...I kept putting wood in the fire to keep it going then after dinner Charlie had a meeting and went to one of the recreation basketball games (our neighbor was playing in)...so I rented a movie on TV....'All About Steve'...cute movie but I didn't want to come up here to write my blog...and without having anything to write about, I figured I may as well wait until the morning.
