Saturday, January 23rd - day 10

I can't believe it's Saturday already! The days are just flying by!

Woke at 6:30 this morning hearing Marlee's dog collar ding-a-linging....time to go out....I didn't have the heart to wake Charlie being that he went to bed at 9 pm last night. So, up I went and Jersey and Marlee went outside....then back to bed...but who could fall asleep - now the sun had come up and it was way too light to fall back to sleep.

Charlie felt much better today after a slow start this morning. He felt a bit dizzy but not as bad as the day before...guess he really has Lymes! The antibiotic is working!

I am noticing that the chemo meds are now taking control...my face is breaking out a bit...around my nose and the corners of my lips and my BUTT! I called the doctors office today but got some other doctor on call...she was to call in a prescription but I'm not sure if what she called in is what my oncologist would have...The 'on call doctor' returned my call from her cell phone and she spoke with an accent...it was difficult on both our parts to understand and hear the conversation. Anyway, I continue to use the hydrocortizone cream on the 'break out areas' and I just bought 'bag balm' for the cuts on my finger...I just got one more tonight....guess it's from my hands being in water...washing dishes, etc.

We had a full house today...Nicholas was here as well as Bre (Paul's girlfriend). I had Samantha make sauce today...her meatballs came out great! Sam had to work so she didn't eat dinner with us. I did make sure we saved her some meatballs for her dinner at 9:30 pm!

It's so nice when everyone is here at home! Nick is going home tonight as he has his own chores to do tomorrow (food shopping and laundry). He may come back tomorrow to watch the two (2) football games...but he does have his own TV at his house.
