Wednesday, Sept., 22nd - #19

Yesterday, Tuesday, I had this abundance of energy (not a full moon yet either!)...so I decided to clean the inside of my car and the roof! Because my car is a convertable and soft top...my/our orange cat loves to sit on it...well, her hair weaved itself into the top making it verrrrry difficult to get it off!!! I could have another cat with the amount of hair I removed!

I have an Animal Dyson vacuum...a waste as far as I'm concerned...with the cost of this thing you think it would have worked! So, I used that and I have this 'brush' that takes off cat/dog hair and I scraped it all together and vacuumed it off...more than several times. And me being short....had more of a difficult time. Not only did the cat sit on the roof but when my top was down...she was on the back seat...with my black jacket and blue (airplane) blanket....so, now you know there was more than alot of hair on that too!!!

Needless to say, I haven't cleaned the inside of my car other than a quick vacuum (at the car wash where you get 5 minutes for $1.00) for about a year....I think the last time it was done was last year around this time - before I knew I was sick....my muscles that have not been in use for that much time...let me know they were still there. To be honest....when I got up this morning I felt fine...it was getting up in the middle of the night that I had a hard time walking to the bathroom! Thank goodness it isn't too far from the bed!!!

The worst part was when I was just about done...I felt my nose running so I wiped it...and it was bleeding! Guess I did too much. It wasn't too bad but unexpected...and of course, due to the 'cocktail' that I get - it is a symptom.

Today, Wednesday, Charlie and I had cocktail #19....my numbers were all good. My white blood count is still high. I guess that 'wrong' shot that I got on the 11th was actually a good thing. I do have to go back on Saturday and Monday - for the regular shot (nupagin)...just to keep my numbers up. Usually after having a treatment - the count goes down.

Fay had her aide today. She helped her with her shower....now, everyone that knows me - knows that I am anal! I ended up typing up a paper saying how I help Fay with her shower...but also said that it was my way and she could do it whatever way made her comfortable. Thank goodness Mom doesn't remember how I do it or even Sam so she said that Charlene did a great job! Charlene is an American grown Sicilian and got along well - even with Marlee and Jersey (even though they pretty much love everyone!) Charlene will be here on my chemo days.

We had a bad thunderstorm tonight...Marlee was/is in Sam's room on her 'clean' comforter and doesn't want to come out of her room! Jersey is so much better...guess she figures only one dog can be a woos!!!! We even turned off the TV and computers!

Okay, I think I brought you up to date...so I may not post another blog for the next few days....just remember - no news is good news! Enjoy!
