forgot to add this to my blog....Had a roommate for about 10 minutes yesterday. They ran out of room! Pretty scary knowing that there are so many people with cancer!
The woman sat in the chair next to me and I was a bit hesitant in asking what type of cancer she has...breast...this was her first treatment and she had a double mastectomy and it went to her lymph nodes. Her husband is in remission for 10 years from having another type of cancer....he wasn't with her. After finding out this info...the nurse came in and hooked her up and in less than 5 minutes she went to her own infusion room.
I really do prefer NOT having anyone else in my room. You never know if they want to talk to you or not and because I was in there first...I put on my channel for the TV....but we didn't have to worry if she enjoys watching ABC soaps! Guess I'm really a mean person!!!
