Ahh, took a shower this morning...not a real shower but not a sponge bath either. I decided to use my mother's bathroom being that she has the shower head that you hold. I had to saran wrap my port (which when I took the tape off - it was red...now, do I have an allergy to the tape?)...It was a little tough but I am really looking forward to taking a 'real' shower tomorrow morning! After the shower I noticed my cheeks were reddish...uh oh, a side effect. I put lotion and then hydrocortozone cream on it....it was still a bit reddish when I went to the doctor today and she said it maybe a reaction but I should really look for 'acne' - that is a definite side effect. I had my pump removed today - my appt. was scheduled for 1:45 and you know we have to wait...but I only had to wait 10 minutes! Went in - got weighed, temp and blood pressure taken and the pump was removed...everything went so fast!

Because it was so early we (Charlie and I) went to Wal-mart to buy a removable shower head for my bathroom shower and then stopped at Burger King...I was craving onion rings! and a jelly donut from Dunkin Donuts! Weird cravings!

Came home and sat...fell asleep while watching TV and now I just finished the laundry and here I am writing in my blog.

It will be nice to sleep tonight without worrying about the pump. I slept pretty good last night except when I woke to go to the bathroom at 5 am...I couldn't fall back to sleep until after 6 am...so, I'm not sure if I'm tired from waking so early or from the chemo. Doctor thinks that I will be a bit more tired this weekend...take a nap is her prescription!

Charlie was a busy man today. He had to take my Mom for her three month check up with the cardiologist at 11 and then when he got home it was just about time for us to leave for my appointment. When we got home he took the dogs for a walk...see, he can not sit still! He loves being busy! My Mom felt badly - she felt that she was imposing on Charlie....

Well, that's about it for today...a bit of a skin rash and the pump being removed.
