Today was a good day...except for the shower thing! I went down to the salon and shampooed my hair then I did a sponge bath...I can't wait until tomorrow...I will try the regular shower then...being extra careful - saran wrap on the port and maybe I will try hanging the pump from the curtain bar...
I did have a little reaction to the Oxi (something like that)...when I eat anything sweet or cold I get this 'sensation' close to my jaw...I was watching TV and that peppermint patty commercial came on...that is where I was able to say - sensation...it's almost the same feeling you get from eating that candy! I emailed the doctor and she said that it will last about three to four days - then it will happen again after the next chemo treatment.....heck, if that's the only reaction I get...I'll be very happy.
Paul made dinner tonight and Samantha cleaned the kitchen...how sweet this is! I still did the laundry - I have to move around! I can't sit still all day long - even if I really wanted to...how boring is that!
Charlie was outside majority of the day...somebody dropped off two kittens in our bus shed - one of our friends wanted them...she got one but the other is being very skittish...she is under our neighbor's shed. Charlie ALMOST caught her twice but she was too fast for him...she's back under! Our neighbor called tonight and said that she WILL get it tomorrow...we don't know how...but it will be interesting to find out! We (both neighbor and us) are feeding it and I'm sure it is staying warm under the shed.
