Nothing much new here. Had my pump disconnected today. I was the only one in the waiting room for my appointed time of 1 pm....to disconnect my pump it takes maybe 5 minutes...well, I was brought into the room at 1:30!!! I can't believe I had to wait that long. Guess everyone was out to lunch!!!
My fingers are numb again...they were getting a little better but I think this med that is in the pump aggravates it...It is much better than it was several weeks ago...but the weird feeling is still there.
I have a busy week coming up. I have to go for my nupagin shot on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday...then back for my CT scan on Friday. Because I had a tiny hive on my wrist with the last scan they think I maybe allergic to the iodine that they use in the IV...so I have to take 15 (fifteen) Prenazone pills 13 hours before my scheduled appointment....5 pills at a time - 3 times. Then before I go I have to take a benadryl too! I told Charlie he definitely has to come with me. I'm sure the benadryl will knock me out! It did about 20 years ago when I took it then and that was the last time!
Charlie borrowed one of our friends backhoe and is moving rocks! From the side of our yard to the front yard...and we're moving....why he is doing this? Guess he has nothing else to do...just to be outside with this beautiful weather! He wants to put some kind of garden in the front yard. At least he's out of my hair...when it rained during this week....boy oh boy, I couldn't wait for him to do something - away from the house or even just for him to go outside!!! I brought home a newspaper and never got to read it...he threw it in the garbage before I had a chance to sit with it! Guess it was in his way.
