Wow, time sure does fly by...I didn't realize that I haven't blogged in almost two weeks! But, nothing is really new - so....
Went for my nupagin shot this morning at 9 am and it was snowing!!! Not a lot...just flurries! It was so funny...about one mile down the road, you could tell it was snowing with the dusting on the highway...but here...nothing....except the flurries....
I am loosing my hair - just a little on my right side...not sure if it's from sleeping on that side all the time - or - the chemo is finally attacking the cells of hair growth. I hope I don't loose more! I don't see any hair on my pillow case...I just see a hair or two on my clothes or sometimes in the sink...but I never put two and two together....oh well, what will be, will be. I only notice it when I curl my hair...there isn't much to put in the iron.
Charlie HAD a job at Tractor Supply in Flanders but when he realized that he would have to dip into our savings - just to work...he decided that staying on unemployment is our best bet...he's making more money staying at home! And they just extended unemployment for another 20 weeks! Plus, with my schedule - going back and forth for blood work and shots...with the winter coming...he may have to drive. He felt so badly telling the guy that hired him but again, he just couldn't put my health in jeopardy.
He joined the volunteer Fire Department and had his second call last night. The first one was on the 1st - he was at the elementary school for the tree lighting and then they got a call that a car drove off the road...Charlie was directing traffic in his fireman's gear! Then last night, about 10:15 pm - he got another page...a chimney fire in Frelinghuysen...he was back by 11:00 pm...it was so funny (not to him) to see him jump up and listen to his radio - then run out the door! It was cold out there too! Ugh! That has to be the worst thing...running out in the night - in the cold!!!!
I wanted to put up our Christmas tree last weekend but Charlie and Sam went to the flea market and then Charlie went out with one of his friends....Paul was in the city and Nick was...someplace - not here. Now, the tree is outside and it's too cold to go out there and bring it in...plus I'm tired...I think it's - again - from not sleeping while I had the pump connected and it may also be from the shot. I feel like I need a nap! But lunch has to be made for my Mom and I still have two loads of wash to do....and maybe two hair cuts???
I go for my CT scan on Friday the 10th. I am praying that there is 'some' shrinkage. I hope that it doesn't stay the same....and I pray that nothing else is growing....please continue to pray for me...I thank all of you that do. Without your support and positive thoughts, I don't think I would still be doing this....
