Good day...but oh how I hate carrying this pump! It weighs two pounds and it's like carrying my pocketbook all day! I usually wear it around my waist and while sitting I unhook it...but I have to remember to hook it up again before standing up...I've forgotten once and it was a weird feeling standing up without it...I felt the cath pull....ooops! Won't do that again!
My hands are a bit shaky but not as bad as the past...I do have the tingling feelings in my fingers when I go into the refrigerator and sometimes just holding a cup of room temperature water...forget the glass of water that has ice in it...oh the tingling hurts!!!! I'm getting the 'sensation' in my jaw area with the first bite of anything, but it only happens with the first bite.
Samantha wanted gnoche icing on her birthday cake...I never made it before....it's a bit messy...but I think I just made too much. I made it get thick to put in between the layers but it still was quite drippy. I have some left over that I put in the refrig and maybe it will thicken up enough that I can squirt little blobs on the edges of the cake. When I put the icing in the middle and put the top layer on...it started to slide off...thank goodness I had long toothpicks to stick in to hold the two layers together. I just hope this tastes good! I used what the recipe called for...whipping cream, bittersweet chocolate chips and some butter......Happy 19th Birthday to Sam! Her birthday is tomorrow - the 12th.
