Thank God for health insurance!!! We received our second bill from MSKCC...
The first one was for the pre admission tests = $5,455.00 - so far we owe $0.00
Yesterday we received our second bill: The room - semi private (means two people) was: $3,870.00 per night!!! Then with all the other stuff, surgery, recovery room, lab work, physical therapy totaled: $41,617.00. Again our cost is $0.00
We'd be in the poor house if we had to pay this.
Now, I'm not sure if this is all covered by our insurance or if the American Cancer Society gives something towards that....but I hope this is the last bill and pray that our insurance covers 100% of this.
